The Bar at The Morecambe Hotel

The bar at the Morecambe Hotel offers a friendly pub style welcome. The full cafe and bar range is chosen for quality, exclusivity and appeal by licensees Dan and Amy Winward. Drinks are served from an impressive bar recreated to the original dimensions in solid oak and slate.

Bar seating is on comfortable, leather, button-backed sofas and aside these are drinks tables. The area features an exposed stone wall that was part of the original stable block of this Grade II listed property.

Freshly Ground Coffee

Our coffee beans are provided by a renowned local roasting house, Atkinsons of Lancaster. We freshly grind beans for each order to ensure maximum flavour and aroma. Our professionally trained Baristas diligently create perfect cups of Atkinson's coffee to a prescribed technique.

Dog Friendly

Well behaved dogs are welcome within the bar area and may also be taken through to the patio. If you've been walking the Prom then ask for a fresh water bowl when you order.

Historical Note

Did you know the bar is thought to have been the stables area of the original coaching inn? Marks found during the 2014/2015 renovation on the original ceiling beams may even have resulted from the very large coaching horses having a little nibble!
